Phosphatidylserine is a phospholipid found in the cell membrane. High concentrations of phosphatidylserine are present in the human brain, accounting for approximately 13–15% of the phospholipids in the cerebral cortex. Maintaining this concentration is essential for normal neurotransmission and cognitive function.

Modern dietary habits, such as vegetarian diets and low dietary fat intake, have reduced the average dietary consumption of phosphatidylserine. This intake is even more limited in the elderly — a population group that often experiences cognitive decline.

Directions +

Adults take 3 tablets daily for the first 4 weeks, thereafter, take 1 tablet daily for maintenance purposes, or as directed by a practitioner or pharmacist. These tablets are best taken with a meal.
Do not exceed recommended daily intake.

Precautions +

Precautions: Not to be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Allergies: Contains soy. Should not be taken by individuals with a history of hypersensitivity to soy. DOES NOT CONTAIN: gluten, wheat allergens, barley, eggs, milk (and milk derivatives), lactose, nuts, fish, shellfish, or sulfites.
