Lamberts® Silica 200mg is a high-strength supplement of plant-based silica derived from Bamboo Gum extract (Bambusa arundinacea). Bamboo Gum is the richest natural source of silica, and the extract used in Lamberts® Silica contains over 90% organic silica.
As with all Lamberts® products, it is manufactured in the UK in accordance with the strict standards of Pharmaceutical GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
Although silica is found in the human body only in very small concentrations, it is present in almost all tissues. The highest concentrations, however, are found in organs rich in connective tissue, such as bones, skin, and blood vessels.
Silica occurs naturally in a wide range of foods, including grains, oats, rice, and barley. However, common industrial food processing methods eliminate most of the silica content.
