16 March 2026

The scientific seminar titled “Gut Microbiome / Probiotics, Magnesium and Vitamin B12 – Basic Knowledge and Practical Guidelines for Use in Primary Healthcare” was successfully completed, in collaboration with our representative in Rhodes.

The seminar was delivered by Konstantinos Skandalis, MD, PhD (c), Dermatologist–Venereologist and Scientific Director of Lamberts-Green Import S.A., who presented up-to-date scientific data and practical guidelines on the use of key dietary supplements in everyday clinical practice.

Particular emphasis was placed on the metabolism and biological functions of magnesium, the factors leading to its deficiency, and the population groups at increased risk. Methods for assessing magnesium levels in the body, as well as available supplementation options, were also discussed.

In the third part of the seminar, the important biological roles of vitamin B12 were presented, along with its absorption mechanisms and the significance of alternative absorption pathways for specific patient groups. The presentation also covered population groups that may require vitamin B12 supplementation, as well as the available methods of administration.

The seminar attracted strong interest from healthcare professionals, who had the opportunity to stay informed about the latest scientific developments and exchange views on the optimal use of dietary supplements in Primary Healthcare.

We would like to warmly thank all participants who contributed to the success of the event.
