Apart from magnesium, the selection of the other minerals and vitamins contained in Multi-Guard® Sport was based on the specific nutritional needs of athletes. More specifically, it provides high levels of vitamin D3 and K (which contribute to the maintenance of normal bone health*), vitamin A (which plays a role in cellular differentiation*), vitamins C and E (which contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress), B-complex vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B12, folic acid, choline, inositol, and PABA – which contribute to carbohydrate metabolism and the normal functioning of the nervous system*), selenium (a powerful antioxidant), calcium, iron, manganese, iodine, zinc, copper, and chromium. Regarding chromium, Multi-Guard® Sport contains 200 mcg, as this amount contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels*.

Another unique feature of Multi-Guard® Sport is its strong combination of phytochemically active antioxidant substances, i.e., plant-derived substances with powerful antioxidant effects*. These substances were added because of the increased production of free radicals (oxidative stress) and the rapid depletion of the body's antioxidant stores that accompany a demanding training program.
