The composition of Multi-Guard® Pregnancy is specifically designed to fully meet the increased nutritional needs of women during the pre-conception period, pregnancy (supporting both the mother and the developing fetus), and breastfeeding.

When taken daily, it provides the required amount of folic acid as recommended by the World Health Organization (400mcg), in combination with optimal levels of other essential vitamins and minerals needed during this important stage.

Ensuring adequate folic acid intake is crucial, as it contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy*. The form of 5-MTHF we chose to use is called Quatrefolic®, a clinically tested form with maximum absorption and bioavailability.

2. Vitamin B6 in the form of pyridoxal 5-phosphate (P5P): Pyridoxal 5-phosphate is the metabolically active form of vitamin B6 and is therefore directly used by the body, as it is immediately incorporated into metabolic reactions.

Despite the absence of iron and iodine, Multi-Guard® Iron Free is a comprehensive formula of vitamins and trace elements, providing 22 micronutrients at clinically adequate levels. The second key micronutrient in Silica Complete® is MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane), a naturally derived, sulfur-containing compound. Sulfur is an essential micronutrient involved in the production of connective tissue proteins and the formation of keratin in nails and hair.
