High potency Alpha Lipoic Acid

Lamberts® Alpha Lipoic Acid 300mg is a high-potency, clinically tested supplement providing 300mg of alpha-lipoic acid per tablet. It has been studied in a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial to evaluate the effect of antioxidant administration in patients suffering from idiopathic tinnitus (1).

As with all Lamberts® products, it is manufactured in the United Kingdom according to the strict standards of Pharmaceutical GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).

Alpha-lipoic acid (often referred to simply as lipoic acid or thioctic acid) is an organic sulfur-containing compound structurally similar to a vitamin.

Its biological properties stem from its unique chemical structure, which allows it to act as an antioxidant both inside and outside the cell. This characteristic has led many authors to describe lipoic acid as the “universal antioxidant.”

Use +

Take up to 2 tablets daily with or without food, or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. As an antioxidant, take 1 tablet daily with a meal. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

Precautions: Not to be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women. Individuals with diabetes should consult their doctor before using Alpha Lipoic Acid as it may increase insulin activity.
