Lamberts® Biome Balance Intimate Flora for Women is a dairy-free formula that provides 3 billion live bacteria per capsule (at the time of manufacture).

The friendly bacterial strains included in Biome Balance Intimate Flora for Women are Lactobacillus plantarum, Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus, and Bifidobacterium animalis lactis.
These strains are among the most important species of the female microbiome, and numerous studies highlight their ability to colonize the vaginal area (through their migration from the gut to the perineum and subsequently to the vagina).

As with all Lamberts® friendly bacteria supplements, the bacteria contained in Biome Balance Intimate Flora for Women are heat-treated and freeze-dried, and are delivered in delayed-release, enteric-coated capsules.
These capsules are made from an acid-resistant polysaccharide matrix, which protects the bacteria during their passage through the stomach and ensures their viability and successful colonisation of the intestine.

Biome Balance Intimate Flora for Women is recommended for women in situations where the balance between friendly and pathogenic bacteria in the microbiome—both intestinal and vaginal—may be disrupted. It is suitable for daily and long-term use.

Ingredients: Bacterial Culture (providing Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus plantarum & Bifidobacterium bifidum), Brown Rice Flour, Capsule Shell (Hypromellose & Gellan Gum), Anti-caking Agent (Stearic Acid).

Directions +

Take 1 capsule daily, or as directed by a practitioner or pharmacist. Take with a glass of water, ideally first thing in the morning when the pH of the stomach is at its highest (i.e. not so acidic). Do not take within half an hour of consuming hot food or drink, heat kills
bacteria. Do not exceed recommended daily dose.

Store in a cool dry place at temperatures below 20°C (preferably in a refrigerator)
