For chronic telogen effluvium

Florisene® is a patented and clinically proven formula, specially designed for women with chronic telogen effluvium (CTE).

The main pathogenic factor of chronic telogen effluvium is low serum ferritin levels, which reflect a low amount of stored iron in the body. When serum ferritin falls below a certain threshold—which varies from person to person but usually ranges between 40-70 mcg— the hair growth cycle is disrupted. This results in an increased total number of hairs in the telogen phase, clinically manifesting as hair shedding.

Low serum ferritin levels are a common finding in women of reproductive age due to both reduced consumption of red meat and blood loss during menstruation.

Florisene® was designed with two main objectives:

Restoration of iron homeostasis: Florisene® provides a high amount of elemental iron (as ferrous fumarate salt). Ferrous fumarate is characterized by increased absorption and bioavailability, combined with a low likelihood of causing gastrointestinal disturbances. To further enhance absorption, lysine and vitamin C were added, which increase iron absorption from the intestinal mucosa.*
Maintenance of normal hair growth and hair homeostasis: Normal hair growth requires the proper proliferation of hair follicle cells. For this reason, vitamin B12 was added to Florisene®, which contributes to the process of cell division*, while biotin and selenium were included to maintain normal hair homeostasis and contribute to the maintenance of normal hair condition*.

Florisene®, like all Lamberts® products, is manufactured in the United Kingdom according to the strict standards of Pharmaceutical GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).

Use +

Take 1 tablet daily or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
In clinical studies conducted with Florisene®, some women experienced a reduction in hair shedding within the first 3 months of taking the supplement. For full benefit, it is recommended to use it for at least 6 months.

Precautions:While taking Florisene®, you should not take any other dietary supplements containing iron. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, you should consult your doctor before using Florisene®. The use of Florisene® is contraindicated with simultaneous oral antibiotic intake. Florisene® should not be taken within 2 hours of taking any medication, including those used for indigestion.

Florisene® contains iron, so some individuals may experience mild gastrointestinal disturbances. This product contains iron, and exceeding the recommended dosage can be harmful, especially to young children. Keep it out of reach of children. Florisene® is safe when taken according to the recommended dosages. In case of overdose, seek medical assistance immediately.

Allergies:THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT CONTAIN: gluten, wheat allergens, barley, soy, eggs, milk (and dairy derivatives), lactose, nuts, fish, shellfish, or sulfites.
