Non-acidic form of Vitamin C

Taking high doses of vitamin C may cause mild gastrointestinal disturbances due to the acidic nature of ascorbic acid. This likelihood increases in individuals with a history of gastrointestinal issues.

In cases where high-dose vitamin C supplementation is necessary, or when vitamin C is recommended for individuals with a personal history of gastrointestinal disturbances, we suggest Gentle Vitamin C 500mg. This product provides vitamin C in the form of calcium ascorbate—a non-acidic and fully absorbable form of vitamin C.

Using this product, it is possible to take up to 2 grams of vitamin C per day (4 tablets). In such cases, we recommend taking the required number of tablets at different times throughout the day.

Each tablet also provides 77 mg of calcium, which can significantly contribute to daily calcium intake—especially in cases where a high number of tablets are taken per day.

Directions +

Take 1–4 tablets daily with a meal, or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

Precautions: Intake of more than 1000 mg of vitamin C per day may cause mild gastrointestinal disturbances.
