The recommended daily dose of Griffonia Seed Extract by Lamberts® provides the levels of 5-HTP used in clinical studies. Like all Lamberts® products, it is manufactured in the United Kingdom according to the strict standards of Pharmaceutical GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).

5-HTP (short for 5-hydroxytryptophan) is the hydroxylated form of the amino acid tryptophan. The body produces 5-HTP from tryptophan, which is then converted into serotonin. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter with a wide range of biological functions, including regulation of appetite, mood, sleep, impulse control, and memory.

Ingredients: Bulking Agent (Calcium Carbonate), Griffonia (Griffonia simplicifolia) Seed Extract, Anti-caking Agents (Silicon Dioxide, Stearic Acid & Magnesium Stearate), Glazing Agents (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Glycerol).

Use +

Take 1-3 tablets daily, half an hour before meals or half an hour before bedtime. Start with one tablet and increase if necessary or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. 5-HTP is taken for periods of up to 3 months. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
