Ultra-high potency lactase

Lamberts® Lactase Enzyme 9000FCC is a high potency lactase supplement, which provides lactase equivalent to 9000 FCC (Food Chemical Codex units) per tablet. Enzyme potency is measured in Food Chemical Codex (FCC) units, as FCC is the worldwide standard for determining the potency of plant enzymes.

This product can be used over a long period of time helping to improve lactose digestion in people who have difficulty digesting lactose*.

Like all Lamberts® formulations , it is manufactured within the UK to strict Pharmaceutical GMP (Pharmaceutical GMP) standards.

Lactase is an essential digestive enzyme, produced in the small intestine, which breaks down the main carbohydrate in milk, lactose. In cases of reduced or no lactase production by the small intestine, the undigested lactose is carried to the large intestine where it is fermented, resulting in gas production and causing diarrhoea. Lactose intolerance is not life-threatening, but it leads to disturbances in lactose quality and avoidance of dairy products may result in dietary restrictions.

Ingredients: Bulking Agents (DiCalcium Phosphate & Cellulose), Lactase, Anti-caking Agents (Silicon Dioxide, Stearic Acid & Magnesium Stearate), Humectant (Crosslinked Cellulose Gum).

Directions +

For people with lactose intolerance, take 1 tablet before each meal containing dairy products (lactose) with a maximum dosage of 3 tablets per day or as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not exceed 3 tablets per day. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
