Multi-Guard® Methyl

With added metabolically active B vitamins

Multi-Guard® Methyl is a highly specialized multivitamin, designed based on the physiology of methylation. It contains 24 micronutrients to fully support the body, with particular emphasis on those nutrients involved in or affected by methylation processes.
Specifically, it provides:

  1. Folic acid in the form of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF):
5-Methyltetrahydrofolate is the methylated and metabolically active form of folic acid, as found naturally in plant-based foods (e.g., green leafy vegetables).

The form of 5-MTHF we chose to use is called Quatrefolic®, a clinically tested form with maximum absorption and bioavailability.

  1. Vitamin B6 in the form of pyridoxal 5-phosphate (P5P): Pyridoxal 5-phosphate is the metabolically active form of vitamin B6 and is therefore directly used by the body, as it is immediately incorporated into metabolic reactions.

  2. Vitamin B12 in the form of methylcobalamin: Methylcobalamin is the metabolically active form of vitamin B12 and has the highest absorption and bioavailability among vitamin B12 forms.

These specific micronutrients participate in homocysteine metabolism, contributing to the reduction of its levels*, while the use of metabolically active (methylated) forms ensures coverage even for individuals unable to methylate them (due to polymorphisms in the MTHFR gene).

In addition to the methylated micronutrients, Multi-Guard® Methyl includes the full range of vitamins and minerals with metabolic effects, as well as a high amount of vitamin K2 in its natural form (as menaquinone/MK-7).

Like all Lamberts® products, Multi-Guard® Methyl is manufactured in the United Kingdom according to strict Pharmaceutical GMP standards.
