Siberian ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus) was discovered by the Russians as a “mild alternative” to Korean ginseng (Panax Ginseng). Over the last thirty years, a significant number of scientific studies have accumulated regarding the active compounds and the mechanism of action of this herb.

The main phytochemically active substances in Siberian ginseng are eleutherosides, a heterogeneous group of glycosides. Among them, eleutherosides B and E are responsible for the adaptogenic action* of the herb and are used as standardization markers.

The adaptogenic action of this herb is applied in situations of exposure to chronic stressful factors.

The Siberian Ginseng 1500mg by Lamberts® is a high-potency standardized extract of Siberian ginseng. Each tablet provides 115mg of standardized extract derived from 1500mg of dried herb, making it 15 times more potent than a product containing 100mg of the whole plant powder.

Like all Lamberts® products, it is manufactured in the UK according to strict Pharmaceutical GMP standards.

Use +
