Vegan Omega 3 Oil
EPA & DHA Oil from Controlled Cultivation Algae
Individuals with strict dietary restrictions, such as vegetarians and vegans, are at increased risk of dietary deficiency in omega-3 fatty acids. To support the nutritional needs of these population groups, Lamberts has developed a range of food supplements derived from the microalgae Schizochytrium sp.
This particular algae is a significant source of EPA and DHA and an integral part of the marine food chain, serving as the primary food for small marine organisms (plankton and krill), which in turn are consumed by larger fish.
The algae used in the production of this product line are cultivated in a controlled environment, ensuring the absence of environmental contaminants in the resulting oil.
The oil contains omega-3 fatty acids in their triglyceride form and is protected from oxidation by the addition of natural antioxidants (tocopherols and rosemary extract).
Vegan Omega 3 Oil is a dietary supplement in oil form derived from the algae Schizochytrium sp. Vegan Omega 3 Oil provides 100 mg EPA and 500 mg DHA per 5 ml of oil, an amount that contributes to the normal function of the heart, the maintenance of normal brain function, and normal vision*.
As with all Lamberts® products, it is manufactured in the United Kingdom in accordance with strict Pharmaceutical GMP standards.
NOTE: In addition to vegetarians and vegans, this supplement can also be used by individuals with fish allergies, who are at increased risk of dietary deficiency in EPA and DHA.
