Specifically, it is a steroidal prohormone that contributes to the normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus, the maintenance of normal blood calcium levels, the maintenance of healthy bones, muscles, and teeth, cell division, and the proper functioning of the immune system*.

The body’s vitamin D level is the sum of vitamin D synthesized in the skin and vitamin D obtained from food. However, despite the fact that the majority of vitamin D is synthesized endogenously, a large portion of the population exhibits vitamin D deficiency.

Lamberts® offers a comprehensive range of vitamin D supplements to best meet the individualized needs of the body. All Lamberts® vitamin D products use cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), which is the active form of vitamin D.

The cholecalciferol used by Lamberts® is clinically tested for excellent absorption and bioavailability (1).

This particular product provides 4000 IU of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) per tablet and, like all Lamberts® products, is manufactured in the UK under strict pharmaceutical GMP standards.

Directions +

Take 1 capsule daily with a meal or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

Precautions: This product is not recommended for long term use and should only be used under the guidance of a practitioner. If you have kidney problems, elevated calcium levels (blood or urine) or a tendency
to form kidney stones do not take, except on the advice of a doctor.
