Besides its culinary use, ginger (Zingiber officinale) has a long history of use in traditional medicine. Ginger supports the digestive system by promoting the normal function of the gastrointestinal tract and aiding the digestion process*. Additionally, it helps relieve nausea associated with travel*.<\/p>\n

Gingerols are the main active compounds in ginger; however, due to their volatile nature, they can be lost when the herb is dried or cooked at high temperatures.<\/p>\n

In the preparation of Lamberts\u00ae Ginger, a standardized ginger extract is used, containing the active ingredients in a concentrated paste form.
