Ornithine is a non-essential amino acid, which plays an important role in the urea cycle. The urea cycle is the major metabolic pathway in which ammonia resulting from the degradation of amino acids is converted into urea. It is therefore the main mechanism for the elimination of excess nitrogen from the body.

In addition to its participation in the urea cycle, ornithine is involved in the production of growth hormone, fat metabolism and immune system function.

Each Lamberts® L – Ornithine HCL capsule provides 500mg of ornithine hydrochloride in free form , ready to be absorbed by the body, without requiring its breakdown by digestive enzymes.

Use +

Take 1-3 capsules daily with water or fruit juice or as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Amino acids are best absorbed when taken half an hour before eating or sleeping.
