High purity N-acetyl-cysteine

N-acetyl-cysteine is the acetylated form of the amino acid L-cysteine, one of the few amino acids that contain sulphur (sulphydryl group). It is therefore characterised by a strong but perfectly normal characteristic odour.

Lamberts® N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) is a one capsule daily formulation that delivers 300mg of N-Acetyl Cysteine. It is manufactured within the UK to the strict standards of the British Pharmacopoeia.

It is suitable for vegetarians, is the acetylated form of the amino acid L-cysteine and is essentially one of the few amino acids which contain sulphur. It is therefore characterised by a strong but perfectly normal characteristic odour.

NAC increases the body’s glutathione levels, which is the main reason for its recommendation by the Health Professional.
