Silicon & MSM Complex with Micronutrients
Silica Complete® is a specially formulated product developed by the Lamberts® Scientific Department for the health of skin, nails, and hair.
The key micronutrient in Silica Complete® is silicon. Silicon is the most abundant trace element in the human body after iron and zinc. The highest concentrations of silicon in the body are found in tissues rich in connective tissue, suggesting that silicon plays a significant structural and/or functional role in connective tissue.
The silicon in Silica Complete® is of natural origin, sourced from bamboo gum. Plant-derived silicon is the richest source (providing 75% organic silicon), the most bioavailable form, and the form used in the majority of published clinical studies.
The second key micronutrient in Silica Complete® is MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane), a naturally derived, sulfur-containing compound. Sulfur is an essential micronutrient involved in the production of connective tissue proteins and the formation of keratin in nails and hair.
To complete the formula, additional micronutrients were included that contribute to the maintenance of healthy skin, hair, and nails:

Zinc, which contributes to the maintenance of normal hair, nails, and skin*.

Biotin, which contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and skin*.

Vitamin C, which contributes to normal collagen formation*. Collagen is the main and most important protein in human skin, and also the most abundant protein in the human body.
